“Danny did our wedding 3-28-09 and if there’s one thing people are talking about the most ( other than how good I looked of course ) ..is our pictures! He captured moments that i didn’t even know were going on. He was so excited and so easy to work with it was amazing!

 I had just been in a wedding early in the month and the photographer was completely in everyones face..eugh hate that. He was able to get every romantic, funny, happy picture without it being uncomfortable. My husband cannot smile on command to save his life…he was able to capture him genuinely laughing and smiling without the “hurry up and take the picture” face. I cant do that lol

Honestly he worked with our budget, he wanted to come to our rehearsal to scope out the place, and he delivered the most amazing photos on the best day of my life..no complaints and i will recommend him to any and every person who’ll listen! :)”

This morning when I opened my email box, there is an award notice email. I thought it was like a lottery win junk email, but when I opened it. I realize it is a true award from weddingwire.com. And here is the email script:

I am sure there will be lots of photographers getting this award, but I still would like to thank weddingwire for this award. It did encouraged me a lot. The year 2008 is my first year in wedding photography business and it’s great success. Now with this award, I need to work harder for the year 2009. And I would like to thank all the brides and grooms who trusted and supported me.

Kathy and I attended a wedding expo and met Danny. He approached us and offered a complimentary ‘engagement’ photo shoot. We immediately liked his demeanor, and decided to go for it.

The first photo shoot was incredible, he gave us so much time and was so patient. His style of photography matched well with our tastes and his creativity was immediately apparent. Our friends were amazed at the quality, and said the photos looked like a movie, or from a magazine.

Once receiving the photos, we were blown away. We signed him up to do our wedding.

When I am reading this review, all the experience with Ed & Kathy appears in my mind again. And it does encourage me to do better and better for wedding photography. I start to think why should I do photography for wedding. I don’t make living by photography. I have a decent job and stable income to pay all my bills. But why choose to photography weddings. I think it is because that I like meeting people, knowing their love story, photographying their big day and witnessing the moment. It means not only the income, but more important, the friendship we developed.

I am so excited to know Ed & Kathy are going to have a baby and I am invited to his birthday party far in advance. I can’t wait to see their baby. A baby from such a nice couple, an almost movie star Dad & Mom.

I am also excited about Ed & Kathy’s new business plan for Ebay. I do hope that I can help.
