This is an engagement photo session for Tibor & Jamie, at Disneyland in Los Angeles.  It’s a very unique and unforgetable experience for me as well. We had a great fun at Disney, both for photo-session and fun part after photos.

Our first meeting with Tibor & Jamie was at Starbucks. From the very beginning, I like their personalities: fun, creative and straight forward. Tibor shared their love stories and how he proposed to Jamie at Disneyland. This inspired me to do a photo-session for them at Disney ( the real place where Jamie accepted Tibor’s propose). When I told them the idea to have an engagement photo session at Disney, they were excited about it, same did I.

It’s thanksgiving holiday. There were still lots of tourists in Disney, more than I thought. Tibor & Jamie got there earlier than we did. We were stopped by security guard. They through my gear is too professional and tried to kick me out. (which is really sad). So I had to send all the big lens and lighting gears back to the garage, and just carried a 5D and a 24-70mm lens. Anyway, we still get in and still was able to have this photo session. And most important, I love the photos from this session. Natural and meaningful. I bet it means a lot to Tibor & Jamie. It’s the fourth time that Tibor & Jamie came to Disney together. No wonder he proposed to Jamie at Disney:-)

Tibor & Jamie, I am looking forward to your wedding in May and can’t wait to meet your friends as well.

It’s Jolin Tsai’s concert in San Jose Event Center. The concert is organized by StarImage, Inc, a famous entertainment and media company in California bay area.

This is my second time watching Jolin’s concert. Last time it was 2006 in Los Angeles at UC Irvine campus. At that time, I went to the concert with classmates and sitting at the very back. Although we can barely see her clear, everyone was excited. After 2 years, Jolin changed. She improved a lot, no matter singing or dancing. This time I am the film crew to cover the photography of the concert. I can see her much clearer. She is much more confident and charming than 2 years ago.

Let’s start. She started with a blue pepsi dress. (Don’t know how much Pepsi sponsered). It’s very very blue:

The guest singer group: Energy. I like this group of young guys, they are just like their name “Energy”, really energetic. They are definitely a promising young group, and I am sure they already got tons of fans:

Then Jolin brought several slow and romantic songs to the audience:

Jolin’s concert is really entertaining. No wonder she has so many fans, because she is really trying hard. From this moment, I began to realize why she got so popular. Her rentless efforts got paid off.

Statistics show that there are more than 45,000 people joining Burning Man this year. And people are from all over the world. As a wedding photographer, I would love to meet couples. Here are some couple pictures I took in Burning Man.
