I am excited about Kathy & Ed’s wedding day. We became good friends after the engagement photo session with them. Both Julia and I can’t wait to see this beautiful couple’s wedding. It’s a long day for us. We started from 10AM in the morning.

Ed’s family came from Chicago. So we shot the groom side first, at Valential Hotel in Santana Row:

Ed’s two brothers:

I like this ring shot, it looks like a smiling face:

“Guys, hurry up, it’s time to go to the church”

Let’s look at the Bride side:

Kathy is getting ready:

Kathy with her parents:

How come Kahty have so many beautiful girlfriends

Time to go to the church too. Haha, Carriage is waiting outside. I love the idea of Carriage. Just so romantic. It took Ed lots of time to research and find out this Carriage vendor. Anyone interested in the Carriage idea for wedding, drop me a line.

Ceremony: in a church in campbell city:

The godfather is also a handsome guy:

Congratulations, the new Mr. and Mrs Sexton

Thanks Leo for driving, so I can shoot while they are in carriage:

We took a shot break and grab some for dinner before the reception. Here is the group photo session before the reception:

This is big group. I like big group, just more energy:

Show the rings:

A close-up for Kathy:

Beautiful Cake:

These two girls are so adorable. I thought they are twin sisters, but after photo album link emailed out, one of the girls’ mother told me “I wish both of them were mine”.

Another two lovely sisters:

Kathy’s mom is singing an opera, everyone was so impressed by her:

That night, Ed was really High, and he should be:

The last shot for them before we left:

That day was long, from 10AM to 10PM, but we were so excited as well. A beautiful wedding.

Engagement Photos for: Kathy & Ed

I met Kathy & Ed in the bridal show in San Jose. From the first met, I can tell how sweet this couple is. Julia always says: “Ed is so gentle, he should be a really good man to marry. ” I believe so too.

We had this engagement photo session at Stanford campus: (Yes, it’s popular. But it’s still different and unique, you will see)

2 Candid shots in front of a candy store, I like the moment in these 2 shots:

We had a dinner together at Stanford shopping center. And We had a chance to hear their love story. The whole wedding plan for Kathy & Ed is only 6 months, the shortest one I have ever seen. But, I love their idea. Plan it soon, plan it quick, and plan it excited.

Evening portrait: that’s my strength. I love evening portraits:

This photo session is a test on photography multiple people in a action. So we planed this sassy beach volleyball photo session. Special thanks to 5 beautiful models:

Theresa / Bella / Ella / Clara / Michelle

And our lighting assistant Kai Tian. The light is so heavy, but I am sure he had a great time. Thanks Theresa for all the planning. It costs time and efforts. But you did an amazing job.
