Inga had lots of great ideas when we planned for this engagement photo session together. And I love her ideas, especially this candy store session:
We went to her favorite candy store: Powell. The color of this candy store is just amazing.

The Chocolate unbrella, yumy

Two candid shots for them through the window outside of Starbucks:

Then, we went to a beach in San Mateo, my first time been there. I like the colors of the shirts Inga and Alex prepared. My style

The color of grassland is also great:

One more:

So bad that I had a booking conflict for Inga’s wedding day. I had the contract with Sherry & Todd already. So I have to miss her wedding day. Congratulations Inga.
“Danny is more an artist than a photographer, his work is very unique and he has the ability to pick up the most beautiful essence of everything. We all love his work, it really captured our most beautiful moments in the our special day and we have no regret at all. Besides his talents, he works very hard as well, all our guests are impressed by his non-stop working during the whole wedding day till late the night. I strong recommended to any one who always dreams for the perfect wedding memories like us. It is a dream became true with the artistic eye of Danny!

Thanks Yuyi for your review on me. Also please send my best wishes to your parents as well. They are so nice.
Our first meeting with Yuyi & Travis was in a milk tea store in Richmond as Yuyi and Travis live in Sacramento. From the first meeting I can tell they are very nice couple. And obviously, Yuyi is in charge of planning for almost everything, and Travis is in charge of paying bills. That’s usual for wedding planning, right?
I can tell they paid a lot of attention to details and had a list of questions to ask when meeting with photographer. I like to meet couples like them: Serious about the vendor meeting. And they already knew my styles and almost browsed through all the samples on my proofing site. They showed me their engagement photos with another photographer, and expect me to do a better job. Yes, that’s the expectation and pressure. But that’s why they choosed me. I don’t let them disappointed.
The day before their big day, I went to their rehearsal in Napa. It’s a beautiful Vineyard.
Here are a few shots for their big day:

I really like the smiles from three cute girls in this photo:

The grooms side has lots of time for getting ready.

The beautiful ceremony site:

And this is the shortest ceremony that I have ever attended. 10 minutes. Just 10 minutes. That’s awesome. I would hope every ceremony to be short and concise.

The club car saved us lots of energy that day:

At the beautiful sunset time, we did another portrait session:

Who got it?

Yuyi, I like your Qi Pao:

And that day is 2008.08.08.
