We have been waiting for this beautiful couple’s wedding for a long time. We love them since the first meetup and we knew it’s going to be a beautiful wedding. Lindsay’s getting ready session is at her parents’ own house. When we got there, Wow, that’s a resort on top of the hill and much better than any 5 star hotel for getting ready. We kept pressing shutters and ended up more than 1500 photos for this wedding day. Then we had a really hard time in selecting photos to put on blog, because there are too many photos both Julia and I love. Let’s start to broadcast the big day now:
Ceremony Site: St. Paul’s Church, Oakland, CA
Reception Site: Blackhawk Country Club, Danville, CA

Lindsay & Ray, welcome back. I knew you had a great honeymoon in Italy and we can’t wait to see your honeymoon photos.
It’s the first time that we shot an engagement session in raining day. Thanks Lindsey & Todd for being so flexible and easy to work together. Although it’s raining, we still had a good time and lot of fun together. We planned this engagement session about a month ago. Lindsey & Todd both live in L.A and they flied to bay area this trip for the engagement session, tasting and other vendor meeting. When we headed out from our home in south bay, it’s still sunny. But as we drove close to San Francisco, it got darker and darker, and Julia started praying:”No rain, please, no rain”. But when we got to golden gate, it started the big rain. This doesn’t happen a lot in the summer time in California, but it happened this time. But, after a few test shot, we found the photos looks great and it has completely a different feel and look, because it doesn’t rain very often in California. And Lindsey and Todd are just so nice and easy to work together. Most of shots are candid and we don’t need to ask them to pose. As Julia said, they are the couple who kissed most often in engagement photo session. That’s super and hot.
Let’s sneak peek a few shots, and we will upload more when done.

Lindsey & Todd, we are very looking forward to your big day in January, only 4 more monthes to go. We will see you soon.
Not until Sarah emails me to remind me about the rehearsal, did I realize that the big day for Sarah is already coming this weekend. We first met Sarah & Scotty about a year ago, and Sarah told us that they knew each other for 9 years since high school 9th Grade. That really impressed us a lot. Nowadays how many high school classmates can finally step into marriage? But Sarah and Scotty made it. We are really happy for them. When Sarah emailed me that they planned a vintage wedding, with lots of antique doors and fabirics, we knew it’s going to be beautiful. But we didn’t expect that it will be so stunning, just out of words. I am not a guy good at writing, so let the photos tell the story.
(Have to mention, this is our second time shooting at the Ranch Golf Club. Satra Zarghami, wedding coordinator, is so nice and helpful. This is the only ceremony that starts on time (actually ahead of schedule, that should be written into history).

Sarah & Scotty, enjoy your honeymoon in Maui. I am sure you will have a great time.
It’s an engagement photo session for Jennifer & Vu at Stanford. Stanford has been a popular place for engagement photos for lots of couples. When Jennifer & Vu told us that they would like to pick Stanford because they really like the architecture in the background, we felt a little bit challenging. As we have already shot at stanford many times, how to do it in a different way and make the photos unique and different is a our major concern. But let’s try how different we can do. Thanks for the great job of, Ann Ho, Makeup Artist and also our friend. Ann did an amazing job as always.
Let’s take a look of some photos from this E-session. A little bit different from normal E-photos at Stanford:
Makeup by: Ann Ho

Jennifer & Vu, we will see you soon next month on Oct 3rd. Can’t wait for your big day.
Finally, the big wedding comes. The day is long and full of fun and joys. At the first beginning, we are a little bit nervous, because this is the largest wedding (500 guests, 14 bridemaids + 14 groomsmen) we have ever covered so far. But the day is just full of fun and everything goes on perfectly. These energetic groom’smen were out of control, but they really brought so much joys and entertainment for this big wedding. We love all of the wedding party members. Let’s sneak peek a few shots first:
