Finally, I came back the sunny California from the chilly New York city. I was in New York from last weekend to cover a wedding for Cynthia & John in central park. It was a great wedding, full of energy. And Cynthia & John definitely picked a great day. It’s the only sunny day during the 5 days, the day before and after the wedding, it was all raining. How lucky they were. I am working on the photos today and will post on blog soon. But today, it’s the birthday of LingYi, a super model in Taiwan, one of our best friend. Happy birthday LingYi, and congratulations on finally turning 21. We will see you soon in Taiwan, can’t wait for the trip.

It’s the engagement photo session for Sarah and Hamid. It’s raining and cloudy in San Francisco city and it just cleared up 1 hour before our photoshooting. So, we were really lucky. But it’s still freezing. Sarah and Hamid are just so flexible. We had a lot of fun working with them. Sarah said:”I don’t feel cold any more, because I guess I am numb already”. I like the dress and outfit that they prepared, stylish but natural. We didn’t get the amazing sunset view that we expected, but the clouds were still in pink and orange color, and it’s just romantic. I worked on these photos until 3 AM last night, just too excited and couldn’t stop. We are very looking forward to the wedding day in March next year.

This is my UCI MBA schoolmates’ wedding at the Yellow Umbrella in Ventura. I am looking forward to this day for a long time and was so excited to see so many schoolmates again at this special day. It’s a beautiful beach wedding at North Los Angelges Area. A little bit cold and windy, but most guests stayed really late than expected. We all cherish this special opportunity for a re-union. The day definitely brought us back lot of memories of the school time. Thanks Yuli & Harv, enjoy your honeymoon in Italy. About a month ago, we just shot Jennifer & Vu’s cool engagement session at Stanford, now it comes their big day. We know it’s going to be a unique wedding, but we were still shocked at the moment when we stepped into the banquet hall. The over 400 guests wedding banquet was full of energy and fun. And we were so lucky to be part of the wedding to experience all the excitement and again, it’s another wonderful evening for us. Thanks Jen & Vu, both Julia and I had a great time at the banquet.

I have to say something about the catering service, it’s the best wedding banquet food that we have ever experienced. Normally we just spent 5 minutes grabbing a bite and back to work, because of the high pressure and we really cannot relax and enjoy the food. But this time, the beef and sea bass were just gorgeous and made us stay at seat for 10 minutes. That’s the record.

Escape from the banquet: (I call the shots below ” escape”. To stay at a 400 guest banquet is excited. But let’s escape from the banquet for 5 minutes and go to a place where there is nobody else, just bride and groom ( Photographers are invisible, don’t count). For this moment, there are only bride and groom, the real candid moment without any disturbance.
