Alexey & Sveta met up with us about 4 weeks ago, and we shot their engagement session 2 weeks after our first meetup, and now it’s their big day. When we got to their ceremony and reception site, “Wow..”, it’s a big wow. We didn’t expect that they can plan such a beautiful wedding in such a short time. 4 weeks to plan such a dream wedding. Also thanks to Nicole Lisanne, the amazing wedding planner. Nicole put everything so well organized, and it was a great experience to work together with such an experienced wedding planner.

We started to cover the getting ready session at Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.
The cake is just amazing. It’s my first time for me to see a white chocolate castle cake, such a fairy tale cake:
It’s the big day for Liuyi & Michael. We are really lucky to be able to spend the day with them together, experience and have fun. We split the wedding day coverage into 2 session. We had a morning session from 10 AM to 12 PM to cover the civil ceremony at San Francisco city hall, then we had a great lunch break and did a portrait session in the afternoon and evening time from 3PM to 7PM. Liu & Michael were so excited the whole day. 2 days after the wedding, when Michael and Liuyi invited us for a great dinner, Liuyi told us:”Danny, I just realized that I had been laughing and smiling for the whole day, and there is only one expression for all photos: the smile. And I forgot to be cool”. Isn’t that great? Liuyi is so cute and we really love Liuyi’s smile, the happiness is from the heart and can impress people. Liuyi & Michael met us only 3 weeks ago, before my trip to New York. I was worried that they might be short of time for preparation. But they did a great job. Again, many thanks for our great makeup artist: Ann Ho. She did an amazing work as always. I couldn’t count how many weddings we collaborate together this year, but I am pretty sure, we will collaborate more the next year.Let’s start to sneak peek a few wedding day photos:

Several months ago, we met up with Kathy & Dan at Starbucks. And it was a great meetup, we kept chatting for over 2 hours until we were all hungry. From that moment, Julia & I know this couple will be a good match for our photography style. We really like Kathy & Dan’s creative ideas and to have a unique engagement session. Kathy & Dan both grew up in San Francisco and they knew the city better than we do. They picked all the places that we haven’t been to before. It’s challenging for us, but we were very excited. And thanks Dan for treating us at this lovely Mexican Restaurant. That’s the best Mexican food that I have tasted. I will definitely try that out again. Let’s sneak peek some shots of the day:

It’s Mailinh & Tam’s Pre-wedding portrait session. Mailinh & Tam like beach photos, but their wedding in April next year and not on the beach, so we decided to do a pre-wedding portrait session at a beach setting. It was raining when we got to the beach, but cleared up after 30 minutes of shooting and the photos turned out really good. Let’s sneak peek a few shots first:
