Almost every our customer will book an engagement session but very few of them will book a Trash-the-Dress. Last year we did a TTD session in Hawaii and we have been expecting for the next one, but it’s a long wait. That’s easily understandable, not many brides really want to trash her thousand dollar wedding dress. But Kit is special, she is so cute and awesome. We love Kit. This is our long waited Trash the Dress session for Kit and Jake. We covered their beautiful wedding back 2 month ago at the beautiful Palm Event Center. I will post the slideshow in the end. We had a great fun with Kit and Jake. It was very cold actually in the water, but after a while, when you get numbed, you just don’t feel it. Let’s take a look.

We have been looking forward to this wedding for a while. It’s our first time to cover a wedding in the beautiful Hanna Winery in the very North San Francisco Area in Healdsburg. We didn’t realize that we have actually been here for wine tasting before with our friends until we drove 2 hours  to get to Healdsburg. What a coincidence, now we can shot a wedding here. Sarah & Xiao were worried about raining the day before the wedding, but the wedding day is so beautiful.

We still remember that the first time when we met Abigail, Abigail was excited to tell us”Danny, I saw my college classmate’s wedding on your blog”. That’s Harvey & Yuliya’s Wedding that we covered last year. Abigail and Harvey both went to UCLA under-graduate school, and Harvey became my schoolmate in UCI graduate school. We didn’t get chance to meet Matt until the wedding day, but we know Matt are in to photography and he just got his Canon 7D. It’s a lot of fun to hear their love story in the toasting part of the rehearsal. We are really happy that after 4 years long distance relationship during their medical school and residence, they will get together and start a new life journey together in San Diego soon.

It’s Nancy & Huy’s E-session. Nancy & Huy lived only 3 blocks distance from our home. So the first time when we met, both of us were surprised that we are neighbors. And from that time, we started to exchange information about dinning, shopping in our living area. And now Nancy & Huy constantly go to dinner at our favorite restaurant. Nancy & Huy told us that they are very very shy in front of cameras and ask us if we can do the E-session at weekdays, so there are less audience. But in this E-session, they feel very comfortable with us and super confident and natural in front of our lens. And we had a lot of fun together, and we just planned to dinner together next week. Now, we are very looking forward to their wedding in October.

It’s a challenging after-day session for Angela & Bo right in the next day of their big day, especially this session starts from 8 AM in the early morning. Angela told us that they were too excited so they sleep really late the last night, and she even had a dream that she brought a whole trunk of clothing for this portrait session. Angela is just so cute. It’s challenging for us as well, as this is our first time to shoot in Houston. We started the tour from Downtown Houston, and we were so lucky to find so many lovely and cute spots that we like. Most important, for this cute couple, no matter where, they look so good and happy. It’s a 4-hour portrait session. Thanks Angela & Bo for bringing us to their favorite restaurant for lunch. This is an amazing trip to Houston, and we love it. Hope to come back again. And I think we will get the chance.
