We are so excited about this special engagement photo session for Colleen & Travis in Montgomery theater. It’s our first time to have an engagement session in a theater, especially for such a beautiful couple. Colleen and Travis first met each other in a theater, as both of them are theater actor & actress. Then both of them have auditions together. So it will be very meaningful to have an Engagement photo session in the theater. More important, we want to thank Steve, the expert and master of lighting,  to help us about the lighting. We can’t do this session without Steve. We only need to tell Steve what effect that we need, then Steve can make it happen. And with these 2 beautiful professional theater artist, the portrait session is so easy. And the whole session is full of love and romance. We really enjoyed this session.

We had a blast with Lily & Scott back in January for their Engagement Session at Berkley, when they came back from Philadelphia during lily’s winter break. That’s a session full of fun. And from that time, we feel that we become good friends instead of just vendor & bride/groom relationship. If you ask us to describe them in the most simple way, I would say lily is so cute and Scott is so nice. Their wedding is one of most relaxed wedding. There was a timeline, but it is actually not necessary. I can feel that what they want is that all the guest can just come to relax and have fun. Scott is late about 1 hour but Lily is not angry at all. As long as her man shows up, she will be happy. And the reason Scott late is that he really put his heart into decorating the car so beautifully to pick up his beautiful bride. The wedding is full of different culture. And Lily was full of tears and laughs from ceremony to reception.

We had a very relaxed engagement photo session with Cindy & Kai. The whole session is like hiking together in the beautiful park. Thanks Cindy & Kai for finding and showing us this lovely place. Julia says that we should definitely come back again just for hiking and exercise. We are very looking forward to their big day, which is coming soon, in October.

I got a phone call from Khoa and he was looking for the wedding photographer to cover his big day. But when he told me his wedding date, I felt really bad, because we already got booked for this date about 1 year ago. (90% of our booking is about 9-12 month ahead of the wedding date). But Khoa & Vananh are really in love with our photography, so the best we can offer is a Couture Wedding Portrait session for them. So they can order a big canvas gallery wrap to display on the reception, and also an album. It’s freezing in San Francisco, but photos look cozy. Vananh & Khoa are so well prepared for this session and we had an easy job. Thanks Ann Ho again for her amazing work on makeup and hair.

The weather of San Francisco is never predictable. It was such a sunny day in South Bay Area, but it’s so windy & cold in San Francisco city. But we do love engagement session in San Francisco. And Teresa & Benson did an awesome job and photos turn out great. We are looking forward to their wedding in Treasure Island in 2011.
