Feb 13th, 2010: Elaine & David’s Wedding @ Stanford Memorial Church, CA
Today is a special day. It’s the Chinese New Year Eve and it’s also Elaine & David’s wedding day. We had a great time together at the Engagement photo session about a month ago and have been looking forward to this special day for a while. We knew Elaine & David will have the day well planned. David is a well organized planner, he would check the exact sunset forecast when we planned the E-session. The wedding is not big, but very warm and cozy. It’s a pity that both their parents are in China and couldn’t make it to the wedding. But David’s parent and Brother made a great video and send the best wishes to all the audience.
Again, thanks a lot for the amazing makeup by Ann Ho. Everytime, Ann did stunning job.
We started the getting ready session at 1 PM at Stanford Park Hotel, a lovely victoria style hotel. All these beautiful bouquet were all hand made by Elaine and her bridemaids. Is that amazing? And Elaine told me she learned how to make the bouquet through Youtube.

The ceremony started at 3 PM at Stanford Memorial Church. As we all knew, this church has very restrictive rule about photography. So we are very limited to the very back roles and the second floor.

After the ceremony, we had a campus tour with the whole bridal party.

The reception was also at Stanford University. The most impressive part of this wedding is the toasting part. David had his undergraduate and graduate school in TsingHua Universtiy in Beijing, China. Eleven of his classmates are now in U.S.A and they all made it to this wedding. And the toast section is full of emotions and tears. Julia said to me:”That’s my first time to see so many guys burst into tears together”. We can really feel that they were all so happy for David, who can marry such a great bride.
